Cutting-Edge Cuisine: A Playful Solution for Fussy Eaters
Bobbie Rhoads (MBA 1993) knows how difficult it can be to get kids to eat their veggies, fruits and other healthy foods. When she realized her kids could be persuaded to clean their plates if their food was, well, more fun, Rhoads invented FunBites™, a sturdy and durable blade cutter.
It’s since won numerous national awards (from The National Parenting Center, Family Choice Awards, others); been featured on ABC’s Shark Tank, Good Morning America, Nickelodeon and elsewhere; and earned the most coveted endorsement of all — her daughters’.
After receiving her Tepper degree, Rhoads worked as a VP, Marketing, for Revlon before becoming a savvy entrepreneurial mom. In 2011, she patented the first and only state-of-the-art kitchen tool to transform food into bite-sized designs. It’s dishwasher-safe, BPA free, safe for children to use and it makes mealtime fun (and healthy).
FunBites is available on Amazon and other outlets throughout the world.
