75th Anniversary Academic Symposium<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

In 1950, seventy-five years ago, Carnegie Mellon University established what would become the Tepper School of Business. On March 21 and 22 of 2025, the Tepper School hosted a 75th Anniversary Academic Symposium<\/a> to celebrate seven-and-a-half decades of providing the education that future business leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs need to make a difference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Returning to Tepper for the symposium was such a meaningful experience. I loved sharing my research and learning from the wide range of presentations, but what I cherished most was reconnecting with classmates and professors. It was a reminder of the vibrant community that shaped my career, and it was inspiring to see how new ideas continue to shape the future.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“My most memorable experience cannot be seen, heard, or smelled. It is the unique intellectual spirit I felt when I was a student and I felt again when returning after 20 years. It is what makes CMU\/Tepper special and different from many other places I have worked at or visited. It is a common feeling I share with all the classmates that attended.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“My favorite memory from the Tepper 75th Anniversary Symposium was the chance to listen to the talks of Nobel laureates who had once been part of the Tepper School, along with many other distinguished faculty members whose careers began here.
