My balcony. Yeah, yeah, it’s not technically a room, but it has an amazing view of Mount Rainier that helps me unwind at the end of the day.

The view that inspires me:

The Chicago skyline. Growing up in a small town in Michigan, it motivated me to pursue education and achieve my goals.

B-school memory that makes me smile:

B**rs with my MBA 2016 classmates Reema Shah, Matt Pinkston, Mike McNamee and Matt Cantele

Dining gem:

Lost Lake Café in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. It’s nothing fancy, but it’s open 24 hours, makes great breakfast potatoes and has a retro “Twin Peaks” vibe.

My art collection would include:

Umbrella Girl” by Banksy

The architectural wonder that I love to study:

Frank Lloyd Wright–designed and inspired homes — I loved visiting Fallingwater while at the Tepper School.

WARDROBE STANDOUT:

My pearl earrings from Lauren Wolf. She creates really unique settings and designs with oxidized silver.

Don’t be afraid to ask for what you want in your career. People can’t read your mind.

If you’re getting stuck looking for the right words, try drawing it out instead to get back to basics. (We write a LOT at Amazon.)
